More Information
Purpose
Imaging technologies are applied in a variety of new
research and practice areas in Civil Engineering. The purpose
of the conference is to provide an opportunity for researchers
and practitioners from academia, government and industry to convene
and exchange information and ideas. It is both timely and of significant
technical benefit to have an exchange among and between those
already actively using imaging and those considering its use..
Format
The program is structured around keynote speakers and
tutorials. Five sessions included technical papers that have been
submitted and will appear in the conference proceedings to be
published by the American Society of Civil Engineers in 1997.
These presentations will be brief and significant periods are
time are devoted to adhoc discussion to encourage discussion and
interchange. One session includes a structured panel discussion
centered around issues of concern to the participants.
