The conference fee is inclusive except for Tuesday dinner. It includes registration, accommodations and meals, taxes and gratuities from dinner on Sunday through lunch on Thursday. Incidental fees (telephone calls, faxes, equipment rentals, bar, etc.) are billed to your personal account by the hotel.

NOTE: Members of the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) Colloid and Interface Group and the Society of Chemical Industry (SCI) Colloid and Surface Chemistry Group will be entitled to a reduction of US$50 from conference fee. Please fax (+1-212-514-6030) or e-mail (tressa@engconfintl.org) the validation of your membership in order to take advantage of the reduced rate.

ALL PARTICIPANTS (INCLUDING MEMBERS OF THE ORGANIZING COMMITTEE AND INVITED SPEAKERS) ARE REQUIRED TO REGISTER.

** Fees for Guest/accompanying person sharing bedroom with single occupancy participant: Room and conference-included meals. There is no conference fee for a guest sharing a room with a participant but who will not be eating meals with the conference participants. Participants arriving before the conference or departing after the conference can arrange additional overnight stays at the resort at discounted cost. To reserve a room process the Pre and Post Conference Reservation Request Form. ECI does not make pre/post conference reservations - that is the responsibility of the participant..

We suggest that you register as soon as possible to be certain that you will have a hotel room at the conference rate. Late registrations will be accepted on a space available basis.

All participants are asked to execute the on-line Registration Form and to complete and return the Payment Information Form (a pdf file) by June 15, 2009. There is a discounted price for registering before this date. All conference payments must be received by June 30, 2009. Your registration and your room are not officially confirmed until we receive payment of the amount due and ECI reserves the right to cancel your room registration if payment is not received. Your invoice/receipt will be e-mailed or faxed to you within several days of receipt of your registration.

Because of contractual guarantees made with the hotel for room and meal functions, no shows, late arrivals, missed meals and early departures cannot receive fee adjustments.

All guests must be registered. Name badges will be issued for both adult and child guests who are accompanying persons/guests. These badges will be the admission to the conference meals.

If your guest does not plan to take any meals with the conference group, there is a bed/breakfast cost of € 92. No badge will be issued; however, it is essential that both ECI and the hotel have an exact count of accompanying persons.

Payment must be made by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), check or money order drawn on a U.S. bank in U.S. dollars, payable to ENGINEERING CONFERENCES INTERNATIONAL. Checks or money orders in any other currencies are NOT ACCEPTABLE. Payment may be made on the web site or can be mailed or information faxed to:

WIRE TRANSFER PAYMENT: If you are planning to make payment by wire transfer, please contact ECI for the bank information (Tressa@engconfintl.org). You must add $30 to cover ECI bank charges. Please reference your full name and the conference title. Fax a copy of your bank transfer papers to ECI (Fax: +1-212-514-6030). This is very important - otherwise it is extremely difficult to trace your payment and you may not receive a receipt prior to the conference.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation must be received by ECI in writing at least three weeks (21 days) prior to the start of the conference in order for any amount of refund to be issued. Cancellations are subject to a $200 cancellation fee plus any direct expenses incurred by ECI. Typically hotels require ECI payment a month prior to the conference start and thus the hotel portion of the conference fee is considered a direct expense as ECI has prepaid it and the hotel will not credit it. ECI does not charge for a substitution.

If you have a disability and may require accommodation in order to participate fully in this conference, please make a note on the registration form. An ECI representative will contact you to discuss your specific needs. If you have special dietary requirements (e.g., vegetarian or a food allergy), please make a note on your registration form.

Smoking is prohibited at ECI conferences & conference functions.
